Review: Lebice

Summer Time Healthy Ice Pop Snack

When it is hot out side there is nothing better than a cold snack.  My kids and myself included love ice pops.  I had the opportunity to receive this product  at a deep discount in exchange for my honest review.

When we opened the box this is what we found: set of 6 molds, holding tray (I loved this), collapsible funnel (so easy to add mix, no messes YEAH), Cleaning Brush, and instruction manual with three healthy ice pop recipes. You can check the company out here  if you want to see the info on their START tab you need to type "/start" after the address. If you do this you will find an idea book of 50 delicious recipes.
When looking at the molds, they took me make to when I was a kid.  My mom had a similar looking set, she used to make us ice pops.

For our ice pops we used: Strawberries, 1 apple, 1 plum, a couple tablespoons of oatmeal, tablespoon of chia seeds (we love those) and Soy Milk (almond milk works great too.) I should have added some Stevia or honey and some vanilla. Maybe next time.
Your ice pops will be approximately 3 3/4" - 4 inches tall, depending how much mix you add to the mold.  Using a fruit smoothie mix it didn't expand much.

The mold set are BPA free, dishwasher safe and FDA approved.
Overall there isn't much to to complain about. The set is not flimsy and very sturdily made.  The tray is my favorite thing about the whole set. Could be made a bit more solidly though.
The whole idea is nothing new and I can make healthy ice pops using any types of molds.
